It's cold and gloomy today so I thought a pot of soup would be good. Since cybor soup just doesn't taste as good as the real thing, I thought I'd give you "eye soup" - a collection of short stories I have written. I've created a new blog to post my stories. Hope you enjoy them!

I am married with 2 school-aged children. I chose to quit my job outside our home and focus on my full-time responsibility as a parent when our daughter was born. I have found that being a stay-at-home mom has been MUCH more challenging than any job I have ever had. The demands of mothering have called for much inner searching and continual growth in my character. As a wife I am continually becoming aware of my own selfish tendencies and how often I forget that life is not all about me. My hope with my writing is to portray a brutally honest picture of life as a woman, wife, and mother trying to live her life with purpose, honor God, and leave a lasting legacy. Not too high of an ideal, eh?
